Artist Statement

The artwork that I create responds to my experience of the urban and natural environment. The drawings and paintings capture intensity, tranquility, serenity or energy of a moment, with particular emphasis on structure and movement.

My paintings and drawings reflect the beauty of both the natural and man-made environments, combining the artistic eye and an architectural background. These impressions are depicted as vibrant watercolors, elegant pen & ink sketches, charming pencil renderings and classic oil paintings.
